Tyrese Gibson Personal Life

Tyrese Darnell Gibson was born on 30th December 1978 in Watts, a notorious rough area in Los Angeles, California. Gibson and his three older siblings were raised by his mother Priscilla since Gibson's father left them in 1983. He studied Locke High School in Watts.

Initially he dreamt of becoming a sanitation man, but when he discovered his singing talents in a talent show the ambitious Tyrese Gibson decided to hit the limelight by taking the showbiz world by storm with his incredible multi-talents. Putting in real hard work, the gritty Tyrese achieved his goals in a short span of his career.

Tyrese Gibson also founded 'Tyrese Gibson Watts Foundation' whose ultimate goal is to build youth community centers in the city of Watts.
